High school relationship games meet middle age

Published by dragonzladi at 2:06 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

It amazes me to find that some people never grow out of their high school mentality.  My point being that some women never mature or become okay within themselves about relationships, more so endings of relationships, and continue to play the mind games that you’d see in any typical high school across the country.  I have a roommate who is in his mid 40’s who recently broke up with a gal in her early 40’s.  I’ve never experienced two ‘adults’ battle it back and forth over text messages like these two to the point of outright rage on his part because he just wants her to leave him alone.  So me being the good friend that I am I jumped in and told her to just leave him alone and she began to bombard my cell phone with text after text after text about how he’d done her wrong, blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda.  I’m naturally going to side with my roommate, but couldn’t resist telling this broad that if she was so pissed about him ‘using’ her than why did she keep taking him back?  Why did she keep giving him money?  Why did she keep having sex with him?  Than it occurred to me - it’s sad that some people in life get stuck in a mindset somewhere alone the path of life and never proceed from it.  Some get stuck in teen years, others their 20’s, while still others just trudge through it and mature along the way.  It’s sad.  I know that I have gotten stuck a few times along the way, but never to this degree - THANK GOD!   At least I have friends around me that would kick my ass if I ever acted the way this broad did…..
